Jet Shades are offered in several package types across our product line. The descriptions below explain what each package typically includes. Package availability varies by aircraft.

Windshield Packages
Shade the upper section of the front windshield, above the pilot's line of sight, and on some aircraft the overhead skylight panels. The lower windshield is left uncovered. Coverage is designed per aircraft and varies by model.

Cockpit Packages
Cover the pilot and copilot side windows, and on most aircraft the upper windshield as well - a popular option for balanced heat, glare and UV protection in the main flight area. Some aircraft, including canopy designs, are supplied without a windshield shade.

Full Aircraft Packages
Extend coverage to additional cabin or rear windows for broader interior protection and maximum heat reduction. Windshield coverage is included where a windshield shade is offered for that aircraft.

Description

Aircraft like the Air Tractor AT-502, with its purpose-built agricultural cockpit and excellent forward and downward visibility, offer excellent visibility in flight - but that same visibility can also increase exposure to direct sunlight through the windshield and side windows.

Available in multiple configurations, each Jet Shades package is designed to reduce glare, improve visibility, and help protect against prolonged sun exposure during low-altitude and high-visibility flight operations.
