When Jet Shades founder Kevin Duggan became a pilot later in life, he ran into the same frustrations countless aviators deal with every day. Like many pilots, he tried existing solutions like cling films, suction-cup shades, mesh screens, and temporary tinting products.
None of them truly solved the problem.

From Frustration to Innovation

Before founding Jet Shades, Kevin spent decades advising Fortune 500 manufacturers and aerospace organizations on operations, engineering systems, and manufacturing excellence. He brought that same problem-solving mindset to aviation — approaching cockpit heat and glare not as an inconvenience, but as an engineering challenge.
After extensive research, prototyping, and in-flight testing, Jet Shades was born.
