With May being National Skin Cancer Awareness Month, the timing couldn’t be more important. In the article, Kevin explores a little-known danger pilots face every time they fly: harmful UVA rays that easily penetrate cockpit windows—even those with factory tint.
The piece highlights just how intense UV exposure can be at altitude and why sunglasses and sunscreen alone aren’t enough to protect pilots and passengers from long-term skin damage and increased cancer risk.
